What is Metabolic Syndrome? Come to this class to learn about the risk factors including: abnormal cholesterol levels, high blood sugar levels, increased blood pressure, and excess body fat around the waist. If you have metabolic syndrome or any of the risk factors, aggressive lifestyle changes can delay or even prevent the development of serious health problems. Join us to learn which foods are best for a healthy heart! This free class will be held at the Avera McKennan Fitness Center and lead by Registered Dietitian, Jessica Waltner.
