Shari Weber has been a member of Avera McKennan Fitness Center 2008. Since re-opening, Shari works out at the center 2 times per week.
“The best part about returning to the center is returning to my favorite exercise class, Barre-less Pilates, using the TRX® and walking on the indoor track. Plus, I enjoy seeing members and the friendly staff that I have gotten to know throughout my years at the Avera McKennan Fitness Center,” said Shari.
Shari’s says her greatest achievements since returning to the center has been the return of socializations while getting the benefit of exercise. Plus, she feels very comfortable with the safety protocols at Avera McKennan Fitness Center.
“The facility has always been very clean. The staff has added extra precautions, such as an automated temperature check at the door, health questions and masks available. Masks are required in public areas of the facility. Every other exercise machine is roped off so there is distancing for use of exercise machines. There are markers on the exercise studio floor for distancing in classes. Hand sanitizer and sanitizing cloths are readily available throughout the facility for members to clean equipment before and after use. Staff members also clean equipment and lockers after each use.”
Shari’s advice for new members is to have fun while getting the benefit of exercise and a variety of options for your health– exercise classes, the track, exercise equipment, weight machines, free weights, massage, dietician consulting and personal training. Enjoy an opportunity for safe, healthy socialization at a great fitness center!
