What safety and sanitation precautions are you taking?

• Additional hand sanitizing stations placed throughout the center
• Wipes, microfiber cloths and sanitizer spray conveniently located throughout the center to clean equipment after use
• Equipment spacing to ensure adherence to social distance
• Scheduled disinfection of equipment and high touch areas throughout the day
• Social distance markings to assist with general awareness
• Signage throughout the center to serve as reminders to wash hands, wipe down equipment, and be mindful of spacing
• Fully vaccinated members and guests are not required to wear a face-covering while using Avera McKennan Fitness Center
• We ask all who enter to continue to self-monitor symptoms and do not enter if they feel ill

Will the pools be available for use?

• Yes, the pool will be available for lap swimming. There will be a maximum of one person per lane with a reservation process. Please phone 605-322-5300 for more information.

Are the Sauna, Steam Rooms, and whirlpool available?

• The sauna, steam room and whirlpool are available with social distancing practices employed

Will there be Group Exercise classes, Personal Training, Swim Lessons or Massage available?

• Classes available to members and guests
• First come, first served access
• Capacity limits to ensure social distancing
• Personal training and massage services will be available with social distancing practices employed

What are the hours of operation be for the center?

• Monday through Thursday: 5 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Friday: 5 am. – 7 p.m.
• Saturday: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Are the showers be open?

• Yes, all showers are available for use.

Additional Services and Guests:

• Towel service is available in the Men’s and Women’s locker room

Is the FitKids area available?

• Beginning August 3, FitKids hours will be Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday and Wednesday evenings 4-7pm.
• Reservations are required and can be made up to 7 days in advance by calling 605-322-5307.

*Any of the aforementioned could be extended or discontinued to meet updated CDC guidelines or state mandates.
